How to Run STATA on the CISER Research Computing System
The Stata application resides on Athena64 and Athena65. The current Stata version
as of 1/20/2006 is Stata 9 SE.
To open Stata on either node:
Start -> All Programs -> Stata -> StataSE 64-bit.
In Stata, to open a Data File click on:
File -> Open.
In Stata, to Open a Stata Program File (.do file) click on:
Window -> Do-file Editor.
In the Do-file Editor open the appropriate do-file with File --> Open.
To execute a do-file go to File --> Do.
